Minto Money provides consumer Installment Loans. An installment loan is a type of loan where you borrow a set amount of money and repay the loan over a fixed period of time with regularly scheduled payments called installments.
Payments are typically scheduled based on your pay frequency.

The term of the loan may vary but is typically 10-18 months.

You can pay off your loan at any time without penalty. You will only pay the interest accrued on your loan up until your pay off date. To make an early payment, please contact our Customer Care Team at least three business days before your next payment is due/scheduled at (844) 446-4686.

What laws apply to Minto Money?

We issue loans in accordance with the Tribe’s Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Code and it is licensed under Tribal law. For this reason, Minto Money is not subject to State law, but rather applicable tribal and federal law, and is not required to be licensed within your State. You may view our Tribal license on our website.

Why doesn’t Minto Money lend in my state?

We do not lend in all states at this time. If your state is not currently available, please check back as we frequently add new states.

How much money can I receive?

Minto Money loans range from $200 to $3,000. A loan decision is based on the information you provide in your loan application.

What is APR?

APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is the annual rate charged for borrowing money, expressed as a single percentage number that represents the actual yearly cost of funds over the term of a loan. APR was designed to allow consumers the ability to evaluate a loan product over the course of a full year or 365 days, but we offer small installment loans that are designed to be paid between 10 to 18 months (term of the loan may vary). APR may vary for a number of reasons. Remember, this is an expensive form of borrowing and is not intended to be a long-term financial solution.

When will the money be in my account?

Loan applications fully verified and approved Monday-Thursday by 6:30 pm Central Time will be funded as soon as the next business day. Loan applications fully verified and approved Friday by 6:30 pm Central Time will be funded as soon as the following Monday so long as the Monday is not a bank holiday.

Some loans may be eligible for free same-day funding if approved Mon-Fri by 2:00pm Central Time.

Deposit times may vary depending on your financial institution. Same-day funding is not available in all states. Minto Money is not responsible for any additional charges applied by your financial institution.

What do I need to get a loan?

To apply for a loan you need to be at least 18 years old, not be in a bankruptcy case, and able to provide your contact information, income, and checking account.

How does the loan process work?

Our loan process is fast and easy. Once you fill out your online loan application, we will send you an email about your application status. Loan application information may be subject to verifications prior to finalizing the loan application process. If the loan application is approved we will send you your Loan Agreement. You are required to review and agree with the Terms and Conditions of the Loan Agreement, prior to electronically signing. Funds from Minto Money are usually deposited as soon as the next business day after your loan application is approved. Weekends and bank holidays are not considered business days. Some loans may be eligible for free same-day funding if approved Mon-Fri by 2:00pm Central Time*, for expedited funding inquires call our Customer Care Team at (844) 446-4686.

When will my loan be due?

We will set up a manageable payment schedule that will tailor the payment dates to correspond with your pay dates. 

How do I make payments on my loan?

To make a payment for your installment loan you can either A) Transfer debit from your checking account into the loans account. B) Contact our customer care team at least two business days prior to your payment date. C) We also accept payments by money order or cashier’s check.

What if I can’t make my loan payment on the due date?

At Minto Money, we understand unforeseen circumstances happen. If you cannot make the payment on your payment due date, then contact our Customer Care Team at least three business days before your next payment is due/scheduled at (844) 446-4686, and we will work with you to find a solution.

What if I want to pay off my loan early?

At Minto Money, you can pay off your loan at any time without penalty. You will only pay the interest accrued on your loan up until your pay off date. To make an early payment, please contact our Customer Care Team at least three business days before your next payment is due/scheduled at (844) 446-4686. 

What if I need to make a payment before the due date?

If you would like to make a payment before your due date, please contact our Customer Care Team at (844) 446-4686 at least three business days before your next payment is due/scheduled.

Who do I contact regarding my past due payments?

If you have concerns about past due payments, please contact our in-house finance department at (844) 496-4686 and we will work with you to find a solution.

What type of bank accounts are accepted by Minto Money

Minto Money only accepts traditional valid checking accounts that are registered under your name. We do not accept prepaid card accounts.

What if I need to cancel my loan?

You may cancel this loan and your payment obligations under the Loan Agreement, without cost or finance charges, no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time of the second business day immediately following the Disbursement Date (“Cancellation Deadline”). Your Disbursement Date is the date the funds were transferred to your financial institution. This may not be the same date your bank makes those funds available to you, so please call us at (844) 446-4686 as soon as possible if you want to cancel your loan. If the cancellation deadline passes, you can still pay off your loan early without penalties.

How do I repay my loan?

Minto Money will make an Automatic Withdraw (ACH) from your bank account. This is the quickest and easiest method of making your loan payments. Other payment methods such as debit cards, cashier’s checks, or money orders are also accepted. Your loan agreement includes a detailed payment schedule with amounts and due dates. Minto Money strongly encourages to pay off your loan early without penalties. You will only pay the interest accrued on your loan up until your pay off date. If you wish to pay off your loan early, please call us at least three business days prior to your next scheduled payment date. Our customer care team is available at (844) 446-4686 to assist you in paying off your loan or to answer any questions about the terms of your loan and/or payment schedule.

What if I need to change my payment date?

If you need to change the date of your loan payment(s), please contact our Customer Care team at (844) 446-4686 at least three business days before your next payment is due/scheduled.

I have not received my funds

Funds from Minto Money are usually deposited as soon as the next business day after your loan application is approved. Weekends and bank holidays are not considered business days. The actual deposit time may depend on the processing schedule and policies of your individual bank. If your funds have not been deposited as soon as the next business day, we recommend checking your loan agreement to verify that your routing number and account numbers are correct. Do you report to the Credit Bureaus?

We do not run or report credit to any of the 3 major credit bureaus. We do run and report credit to National databases including but not limited to Clarity and Factor Trust.

How can I qualify for a loan?

To apply for a loan, you need to be at least 18 years old, not currently involved in a bankruptcy proceeding, and be able to provide us with your contact information, income, and an active checking account.

How soon will I get my funds?

For most customers, your funds will be deposited in your bank account as soon as the next business day after your application has been processed and approved. You can request same-day funding if your application is reviewed and approved by 2:00 p.m. CST*. For loans that are processed on weekends or bank holidays, your funds will be available as soon as the next business day (weekends and bank holidays are not considered a business day). To help the funding process go as quickly as possible, keep an eye out for your confirmation emails as they may contain important information about the status of your loan. Check your spam folder if you don’t see these emails in your inbox.

What is the APR of your loans?

There are many factors that go into determining the APR %. This is an expensive form of credit, therefore we encourage customers to pay off their loans as soon as possible. Your loan agreement has specific details regarding payment amounts, payment dates, rates (APR), and specific fee information. Your loan agreement is available to review and download at any time during the life of your loan by logging in to your account at
members.mintomoney.com.

What is the maximum amount of money I can borrow?

Minto Money uses many factors to determine your loan amount eligibility. The loan amounts we have available for qualified borrowers range from $200 to $3,000. Maximum loan amount is $3,000 for first time customers. Not everyone will qualify for the maximum loan amount.

When will my payments be due?

In most cases the installment payment schedule on our loans are generated to match your pay frequency.
